2026 Season Registration is Open
C.E.C. Boys Youth Lacrosse – Spring 2026 Season: The countdown is officially ON! Youth Boys Spring Lacrosse Season, and we can’t wait to welcome another season of grit, grind, and growth! For families who like to plan ahead, here’s what a typical CEC spring season looks like:
Season Timeline:* March through early June: We begin indoors when possible, but once fields are open, we’re outside rain or shine!
League Play:C.E.C. competes in the GNLL (Great Northern Lacrosse League), which schedules games during the week. To keep things consistent, practice and game days stay the same each week:
* U8 & U10 - Mondays & Wednesdays
{ Typically 1st–4th graders based on Sept. birth year }
* U12 & U14 - Tuesdays & Thursdays
{ Typically 5th–8th graders }
Additional Notes:• Some Sunday evening practices may be added based on field/player availability
• GNLL also hosts a few Saturday “Play Days”
• We plan to continue our U6 night one evening per week, based on coach availability (details coming closer to the season!)
Spring Tournaments: C.E.C. teams will participate in two tournaments each season:
Kirk-Watson Shootout { Grand Rapids }* May 2–3, 2026
* For U8–U14 teams
GNLL State Tournament { Maple Grove }*June 5–7, 2026
*For U10–U14 teams

Northern Siege has transformed into C.E.C. Lacrosse, marking the debut of the first official C.E.C. MSHSL Lacrosse team! This exciting change spans across all age groups, from our U6's to our high school seniors. Our commitment to nurturing young talent and advancing the sport of lacrosse in northern Minnesota remains as strong as ever, and we're ecstatic that our youth players now have the incredible opportunity to continue playing this fantastic sport all the way through high school.
